INSTRUCTOR GUIDED PROJECTS FOR FRIDAY


These projects will be facilitated for you to get involved. Although started and mentored by instructors these are all opportunities for you to get your hands dirty and experience some larger Bushcraft and Wilderness Living Skills Projects.

Group Shelter Build - Steve Yates, Dave Watson among others

The Tarp - How to get the best from your tarp - Steve Yates

Constructing and using a primitive ground forge - Dave Budd

Rooster Carving - Martin from the Bushcraft Tribe

Storytelling - Tales from the Wild - Chris Salisbury

Ground Forge and Blacksmithing - Dave Budd

run by Wilderness Gathering. You'll need to pay to enter and all the proceeds will be going to Survival International.

The Coyote Kids knife safety workshop for youngsters will be run on all three days at 0930.

COYOTE KIDS CLUB
The perfect introduction for your children (6 - 11 year olds) to the great outdoors, lots of exciting events are planned throughout the weekend including: The all important knife workshop which introduce the safety and fundamental use of knives & Fire Safety Workshop. Program of activities listed below The first event for the coyote kids club will be a mandatory knife safety workshop on Friday morning. This  will be run by Chris Holland and Chris salisbury. Following on from this first workshop will be more skills and games for the younger bushcrafters throughout the weekend. Further details can be found here - COYOTE KIDS

THE COYOTES
New for this year we have introduced the Coyotes for the older children (11-16 year olds). Activities aned events will revolve around basic bushcraft skills, outdoor games throughout the weekend. This will of course include: The all important knife workshop which introduce the safety and fundamental use of knives & Fire Safety Workshop. Program of activities will be listed on the site, refer to the map for meeting point. This will be run by J.P.Lamerieux. The first event for the Coyotes will be a mandatory knife safety workshop on Friday morning.
