INSTRUCTOR GUIDED PROJECTS FOR FRIDAY
(Weekend tickets only)
These projects will be facilitated for you to get involved. Although started and mentored by instructors these are all opportunities for you to get your hands dirty and experience some larger Bushcraft and Wilderness Living Skills Projects.

The Coyote Kids knife safety workshop for youngsters will be run on all three days at 0930.
COYOTE KIDS
The perfect introduction for your children to the great outdoors, lots of exciting events are planned throughout the weekend including: The all important knife workshop which introduce the safety and fundamental use of knives & Fire Safety Workshop. Program of activities listed below.The first event for the coyote kids club will be a mandatory knife safety workshop on Friday morning. This will be run by Jeremy Hastings and his crew from Islay Birding and Bushcraft. Following on from this first workshop will be more skills and games for the younger bushcrafters throughout the weekend
Survival Relay Race
Shelter building, signalling for rescue, simple trapping and first aid. All done against the clock, with an average time around 10mins. All this is done after some basic training. The whole event is completed inside of 2 hours and will be led by Spanner of Footsteps of Discovery.
Sneaking Game (for kids and adults)
The Sneaking Game both for children and adults will be led by Chris Holland of Wholeland.
And throughout the weekend Islay Birding & Bushcraft will be running the following:
