As a family event the Gathering pays particular attention to fostering the future generations of bushcrafters. The Coyote Clubs were introduced in 2005 and host a comprehensive range of events and activities specifically tailored for children from 5 to 15 year old. |
The Masterclasses were introduced in 2005 and are your opportunity to study your favourite Bushcraft subject in depth with one of the leading instructors from the many Bushcraft schools that attend the Gathering. Masterclasses are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday of the Gathering and last 3 hours, book early and book in advance to guarantee your place as they are well subscribed and only accommodate limited numbers to ensure a good instructor/student ratio. In-depth Bushcraft is what the Masterclasses are all about, its your opportunity to have a go under the watchful eye of expert instructors. |
The Gathering is located on an attractive south Wiltshire farm with lakes and 30 acres of old oak woodlands. Bush Farm has many unusual animals including elk, raccoons, guanaco, rhea, prairie dogs and chipmunks as well of course as their famous herd of English Bison. One of the big attractions is the access you get to the woodlands where you can erect whatever shelter you want whether its a debris hut, basha, hootchie, hammock or tent and then build your very own campfire. |
